Formosa Oolong

About Formosa Tea

Traditionally, the category of Formosa Oolong refers to a summer harvest, twisted leaf oolong that is more toward the black end on the oolong spectrum. One of the distinguishing characteristics of this oolong category is that little aphid-like bugs bite the leaves while still on the tea plant, and the plant's natural reaction results in a exceedingly drinkable, honey-like undertones.
