Also spelled as puerh, puer is a broad category of tea which can generally been divided between cooked and raw; aged and young. Puers are best known for their deep, earthy flavors, akin to soil, minerals, and mushrooms. We have a range of puers that come in cakes, bricks, or loose form, from very young like our to thirty years old like our Raw '81. While processing and age affects the flavor of puers, older does not necessarily mean "better," since each person's palate may prefer a differently aged puer.
